The Certified Sustainability Innovator Professional—Associate Level (CSIP-A) certification is designed to equip professionals with the foundational knowledge, skills, and tools to drive innovation while embedding sustainability into business practices. This program offers a comprehensive approach to understanding and managing innovation with a strong emphasis on sustainable development across industries. Through four progressive courses, participants will gain a deep appreciation of how innovation can be harnessed to create environmental, social, and economic value, positioning themselves as change agents for a sustainable future.

Course 1: Foundations of Innovation and Sustainability (CSI 1001)

Participants learn to manage innovation processes across varying contexts, applying search strategies and frameworks to identify opportunities and optimize outcomes. Course 3: Sources and Applications of Sustainable Innovation (CSI 1003)

In this course, participants focus on the diverse sources of sustainable innovation, from knowledge-driven to user-driven and crisis-driven approaches. Topics such as emerging markets, underserved communities, and regulatory impacts on sustainability are covered. Learners apply design-led and recombinant innovation approaches to develop practical solutions and create value across sectors. Course 4: Capturing Sustainable Value and Entrepreneurial Practices (CSI 1004)
